The name "Renascense" (not to be confused with word "renaissance") means "Rebirth". The name is fitting because we feel that our Renascence bulldogge are a rebirth of a healthier more athletic and functional bulldogge of about 1820 - 1900. And not to be confused with the catch all "Old English Bulldogge".



    At Renegade Bulldogges we refuse to follow the guidelines and standards set down by the U.K.C and A.K.C for bulldogges and other "bull breeds". Mainly the catch all Olde English Bulldogge.

    We rather follow the guidelines and standards set down by the R.B.K.C.! The RBKC was started by Chadde JoliCoeur due to the lack of conformity and consitency in the recreations of the bulldogge of old.

    The RBKC is a group of breeders with established bloodlines, whose goal are to produce the same style of bulldogge! They use a standard and registry to help maintain, and produce healthy, energetic, athletic and great temperaments in our bulldogges. We will do this by using the best dogs obtainable thru the RBKC.

    At Renegade Bulldogges this is a family affair! I will not sell or raise a bulldogge that I do not trust with my own kids! Our dogs are raised in the house with us and are socialized in every situation imaginable! We do this as a hobby and not for a living!! So we will only have a few select breedings a year!
